Jan’s Racing Team is ready to take on the road course in wine country this Friday, June 26th at Sonoma Raceway.
Driver Robbie Keneally heads into the weekend looking for redemption after last year’s late-race crash involving multiple cars, while newcomer Cole Denton looks to keep his strong season rolling after already picking up two wins on the oval short tracks.
From The Drivers:
Robbie Kennealy -
"Excited to come back to road course racing," said Kennealy. "I have the least amount of experience doing this type of stuff and haven’t been very good in the past, but I love the challenge to try and get better every year and with a new car for us, I’m just excited to see what we can do as a team."
Cole Denton -
"I'm feeling great going into Sonoma with some confidence and momentum after the Tri City win in our #71 Jan's Towing ford fusion," Denton said. "I'm super excited to have the first road course race of the season at Sonoma and I'm looking forward to the challenge."
The team has put in a lot of preparation getting the road course cars ready, and team owner Jan Quackenbush has full faith and confidence in both of his drivers as they prepare to take on one of the most challenging tracks on the schedule.
The race-day schedule:
12:10 p.m. PT: Qualifying (Single-car, two-lap format).
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. PT: Autograph Session (Midway behind grandstands).
